Every account on the left is a face onto this one ledger. Cash deposited is digitised here; a transfer between citizens debits one statement and credits the other from the same block. Thirteen Ophir Spires co-sign each block — this shows which nine (of thirteen) formed quorum.
Honest by design: single-node proof-of-concept running the real mechanics from the Meridian documents — gold-weight ASC denomination, safe-draw PAM enforcement, CAM/SAM minting, multi-currency accounts settling to one ledger, and a genuine SHA-256 hash-chained ledger you can tamper-test. The hashing, the safe-draw refusal, and the immutability are real.
Meridian Global Finance is in active development and is not currently authorised to provide banking, deposit-taking, payment, investment management or other regulated financial services in any jurisdiction. This is a demonstration only — no real accounts, funds or customers are involved.
What it is not: the production network. The live Echelon Chain runs across thirteen independently operated Ophir Spires with real Byzantine-fault-tolerant consensus and audited security — the validator strip above illustrates which spires would co-sign, it does not run real distributed consensus in your browser. FX rates shown are illustrative constants, not live market data.
